A woman singing. She's singing about being in love with a one eyed man. I think she caught him cheating and was talking about what she was gonna do to him the next time she saw him. A friend of mine asked me if I heard it but I haven't. Can anyone help me out?

Sounds like a southern soul song, like Louisiana or Mississippi swamp boogie type music. In fact, it seems to be stuck way back in the back of my head that I have this song, and that it may be done by either Katie Webster or Sweet Miss Coffy. Thank you so much MIKEW.....I haven' talked to my friend today but listening to that song...sounds about right to me. He said it had a bluesy/jazz sound to it. I'll let you know.

UPDATE......My friend did some research and the version he was talking about was by Irene Reid. I like Gloria's version better!!
