saw this play last night and it was great!! The singing,the acting..all wonderful. The actresses that played the Shirelles were vibrant,gorgeous and of course,great singers too. Beth Leavel was wonderful as Florence: humour, strength, and irony. I went back today to get a photo of me and the marquee and the cast was outside doing a meet and greet. Got a great photo with Christina Sajous who played Shirley. I had a lovely moment with her! Too bad it is closing on the 4th. It did make me get to NY, though.
The great soundtrack mde me want to see the play. I noticed too, that Richard Perry was a consulting producer.
