I've just heard a fantastic song "Men of Words Women of Action". I know I can get it on Youtube but that's not my style and I want it on cd. Does anyone know which cd will contain it....and are there are any other Ronald Dunbar tracks, I'd love to search for those too.

Hi, I have it on CD LOST SOUL. I picked it up in the USA some time back. To my knowledge it is on no other CD.

Here's amazon.co.uk http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lost-Soul-Various-Artists/dp/B000002ANW/ref=sr_1_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1312735032&sr=1-1 £16.98!!!

Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001BKTO96/ref=dm_sp_alb?ie=UTF8&qid=1312734984&sr=8-1 $9.99

or mp3 download in US $0.99 cents

ALSO CD UNIVERSE DOWNLOAD $9.99 http://www.cduniverse.com/search/xx/music/pid/1240903/a/Lost+Soul.htm

CD Universe ships internationally, very reasonable postage, pay by credit card. Much easier than Amazon strife.

downloads aren't too bad, provided [[1) they are downloaded at a reasonable kbps, as near to 320 as you can get, and [[2) [[3) and [[4) you don't let your files anywhere near Apple I tunes........ and [[5) you don't mind not getting any liner notes

cheers M

I'll pay the extra few quid cos I don't have to remember all those warnings. LOL And I do like my sleeve notes...even though my eyes are so bad, I can't see them!

Sleeve notes?!

My eyes are getting so bad, sometimes I can even miss the CD title on the front......

And I'm typing this sitting real close to the screen......

I'd fear to know why the two of you have bad eyes.

But speaking of Betty Lavette, does anyone else let the theme song to the Forum play and play and play ever?

Ya, sleeve notes; love that term; liner notes is the "newer" term. No wonder the eyes are going!

Bettye cut 2 45s for Epic. I believe that 3 have been released on various artists comps.
To my knowledge, Behind Closed Doors has yet to see CD release.

Imnokid.......that's the same conclusion that I came to. Do you know if it is the same song that Charlie Rich made famous. I love that song too but I couldn't find Bettye's version on youtube.
