Hello again been playing stevie's sixties love it, i think stevie from 65-68 was class motown,anyway TRAVELLIN MAN ,one of my all time faves love it, but wonder how the 4 tops would have covered it, one of my lost motown dreams.anyone think of anymore, talkin of travellin man has this only ever been released on TMS Collection,i had only on album until the set,memories, cheers folks.

Good post,there was a supremes song called[take me where you go]and i've always wondered what would've happened had they recorded it with the classic temps with david trading on the lead with diana...[that song would still be selling]!!

Honest Man, The first LP that "Travelin' Man" appeared on was Stevie Wonder Greatest Hits Vol. 2 album [[1971), which is now on CD. It also appears on a 1987 European CD compilation Essential Stevie Wonder, which is the same track listing as the Looking Back LP set [[1977). And TCMS Vol. 7 seems to be the only place you can get the original mono single version.

Uptight thanks for that,i always thought the song was on greatest hits vol 1 though thats tha lp i have and used to play the song . did not have vol 2,just thought id mention for my own sanity .ha

1967's 16 Original Big Hits, Volume 8 may have been Traveling Man's first album release. It was also one of the early Ron Miller classics recorded by Stevie.
