Anyone aware of Larry Buford's recordings?
I only discovered him today, some great stuff..Larry Buford is a journalist, and singer/songwriter. He is a staff writer for Kalamazoo Michigan s Community Voices, and also appears as a freelance writer for other news publications including the Michigan Chronicle and the Los Angeles Sentinel. Once a songwriter for Motown Records, Larry now publishes his own music, and was recently made aware that a song from his catalog I Think I m Gonna Be Blue was included in a compilation CD titled Independent Soul released in the United Kingdom.

Growing up in the factory town of Detroit then known as the Motor City before it became known as Motown Larry, the eldest of six children, grew up through some difficult times. Early on, Larry learned to escape the reality of hardship by listening to music and reading. He would read anything from Grimm’s Fairy Tales to Victor Hugo s Les Miserables. Deeply influenced by music, he sang in his high school Glee Club and studied cello.
