What a historic day it is today.....from the Motown Museum's FB:

"Today in 1959, Berry Gordy used an $800 family loan and started the empire that would become Motown Records! Originally founded as Tamla Records, Motown became a world-renowned record company known for the iconic Motown Sound."

And isn't is something we still have many of the people involved with the success of Motown, namely THE MAN himself, the Chairman, Mr. Berry Gordy Jr. Thank you Mr. Gordy for the gift of Motown.

What a great tribute. Now if only we could experience a MOTOWN 65 broadcast.

Who would have ever thought it would last this long? Yesterday, Today, Forever.
