Ronald Isley [[https://www.vibe.com/t/ronald-isley/) is up for a fight after Judge Thomas M. Durkin denied to dismiss his older brother Rudolph’s lawsuit on Wednesday [Aug. 23], per Billboard [[https://www.billboard.com/business/legal/isley-brothers-court-battle-over-band-name-legal-rights-1235399882/). The lawsuit accused the “Contagious [[https://www.vibe.com/music/music-news/isley-brothers-hip-hop-album-1234701416/)” crooner of attempting to procure the federal trademark [[https://www.vibe.com/news/entertainment/ronald-isley-rudolph-isley-trademark-lawsuit-1234743768/) for The Isley Brothers [[https://www.vibe.com/t/the-isley-brothers/) name after Rudolph claimed the two jointly owned it.
