I love it!

There's a guy who goes to Northampton who has a back wheel attached to the back of his van and it has a cover in the Tamla logo.

Wonderful!

My bruvver is mad about Lambretta's and he goes on these scooter outings. He saw a scooter that had been made up in a similar fashion.....he took pictuers and it's excellent.

I can't post pictures as it's too technical for me so I have asked someone to post them for me. The scooter is called "Reflections" so I suspect you can guess the theme!

thats good airbrushing.A4 size with that amount of detail.i've been airbrushing for 20 years but only on paper.and these are monochrome too,got to get your grey scale right or it doesnt work.those a very good.and look like the people they're supposed to be.and you cant stick a fairing up on a drawing board either.

I think I know what you mean but it's darn clever...whatever they did.

These scoooter clubs have a heavy membership of devotees of Motown and Northern Soul.

These scooters aren't airbrushed, they are computer generated [[yes on a home PC). that are sent to a professional printer, who prints the design onto vinyl sheets; then cut to size. And I must say they look the Bees Knees.

i thought so,i told andy lombardi, who uploaded them to MT.but the reflections scooter's are airbrushed and the probably scanned and put on disc for the vinyl printer/cutter.in 2002 i was going to get my car bonnet done.it was 80 quid for a sheet to cover the bonnet completely,a renault 25 thats a big bonnet.to get the bonnet sprayed 80 quid and me doing the airbrushing on top.vinyl is the way to go as long as its good quality and doesn't fade and crack due to uv's etc.although a few good coats of laquer should do the trick.

Wonderful scooters, there must be a get-together of the owners every now and then. Can somebody take lots of pictures of them scooters then?
Are those your sturdy calves on Paul's 1st pic yours, John?

Robbert

These lambretta scooter clubs are packed with members. It surprised me how many. They go on regular outings en masse. It's quite amusing to see a large onslaught of Lambretta scooters with my brother in the middle of the pack.

Those sturdy calves are not mine. Mine come with a walking stick these days!

get the images you want disc/memory stick etc.take it to a vinyl decal place.now i havent a clue what they are called in yell, yellow pages.i'll try and find out.i'd phone them 1st so you know the limitations with quality of image ,pixels etc.
work out if you want cover the cupboards complete or have pictures individual "vinyls" that might look a bit like fridge magnets tho' and if its a one sheet covers it all thing,it will clean easier with no corners/edges flicking up.
with this vinyl /decal/sheet system anything you want put anywhere you want.[[except untreated wood) wood must be either painted/varnshed and SMOOTH,rub down with 1200 grit upwards and get it dust free.it will be an arse ache to get it stuck without airbubbles.you will get airbubbles.you poke them with a pin, i use a scalpel blade tip,rub with a cloth.but i'm getting too far ahead here!i'll try and find out who you can phone to start you off in getting started.

found a link.you can phone and get some info and COST!

The second one please. Mind you, it doesn't contain Norma so if she sees you on it, you will have some explaining to do! HAHAHA

Nevertheless, I have to say that the top one of Annette, Cal and Sandy is wonderful. You can see why Cal was wanted as a model.

You've made my day putting those pictures up Stone Diamond. Thank you.
