hi,greg in mobile,al. isa nyone here planning on going to the [[i believe the 1st one) dauphin island beach party on june 25th with chubby checker,bobby hendricks and the drifters and the tams. more musical acts to be announced later in the week. tickets available with ticketmaster..$10 EACH. how many legit drifter`s groups out there? which one does the treadwell family still own/is it the one that was on qvc recently? i`m assuming the bobby hendricks version and of course charlie thomas` drifters are legitimate. i know the tams have 2 groups. one has joe popes` brother doing lead vocals now. is he the one that sounds like joe? i saw video of the tams at a beachfest from last year. i think chubby still looks,sings and moves well today for 69.
