I thought Philip Bailey's solo albums were patchy to say the very least so this one doesn't tempt me, but i hope it sells in sufficient quantities to pave the way for future releases.

I also like his later albums better: more jazzier and soulful. The last one Love Will Find A Way is quite good.

I do like "Walking On The Chinese Wall", which is kind of like Genesis meets Earth, Wind & Fire… progressive pop rock complete with oriental sound effects and a very 80s vibe… really one hell of a song… :cool:

I’m not that familiar with much else of his solo work, but perhaps worth checking out :D

Agreed. Love will find a way is much stronger than this trio of albums.
