Thanks for this advance notice. I'll look out for it.
As usual, one hopes for accuracy in this programme.

The guy on the far right hand side looks like Jack Gibson "Jack The Rapper" Motowns Disc Jockey who worked for Berry from 1961 to 1966.

It's rumoured that it will be screened on BBC TV before Christmas. Last year they put out requests for people who had attended the shows to get in contact for interview purposes. Don't know how many did or what help they had from US sources.

Adam White would be a good contributor...he went to the Bristol shows I think.

This links to an article with a larger version of the photo. I believe the gentleman on the far right is actually Berry's father, "Pops" Gordy.

My eyesight not brilliant these days, be a great thing if it's pops. With the Miss Motown stuff going on at the moment on Soul Source, it does look like Jack Gibson.

The documentary about the tour that was on BBC Four [[I think) some time back was very good.

I'm looking forward to this!

Out of interest, is this the tour when the Ready, Steady, Go Motown Special with Dusty Springfield was recorded?

yes it was
it tied in with the launch of the new UK Tamla Motown label.
but bizzarely the TV show was aired AFTER the concerts so any publicity to promote the tour/shows was lost
