Stubass and I can attest that the statement Pat Crosby said was true, a lot of the Motown artists lived at one time or another in northwest Detroit: Berry Gordy, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, 3 of the 4 Tops, Gladys Knight and 2 of the Pips, the Spinners, etc. My only regret is that I didn't think to ask them for autographs, etc. because I thought they were regular people with great careers - and for the most part they acted like regular neighborhood folk.
