Trying to get an idea of recordings made at Chess for other labels. Like "Tell Him" by Patti Drew [[Capitol), "Hello Stranger"by Barbara Lewis on Atlantic and "Great Big Idol with a Golden Head" by the Coasters on Atco. How about "That's Enough" by Roscoe Robinson on Gerri, sounds likes Chess and maybe the Gems on background. Any ideas or information would be appreciated.Thanks.

Hi Chicagosoulman

They're not in the soul bag you mentioned, but the Rolling Stones recorded over dozen songs there including 'It's All Over Now', 'Little Red Rooster', 'Satisfaction' [[part recorded there), their great version of 'Around And Around' and the superb instrumental '2120 South Michigan Avenue'.

Yeah, forgot about them even though the version of "Satisfaction" recorded at Chess was not the one released. It was actually recorded at RCA in Los Angeles. I used wonder why WVON in Chicago included in their playlist.

Also the Chicago rock group the Buckinghams' "Kind of a Drag" released in 1966 on USA Records. Engineered by Ron Malo.
