Farewell to a classy and very professional newsman. To this day, when I think about CNN, I remember them for demoting Shaw for his reluctance to return to Iraq during the Gulf War. He'd done a lot to help build that network's reputation and didn't deserve the treatment he received. I'm praying that his family and loved ones will carry on with memories of the joy of his life more than they carry the sorrowful weight of his passing.
