I just stumbled upon this interview Ms De Passe gave to Variety.

She talks about her early days, befriending Cindy Birdsong, getting introduced to Mr Gordy, how its is like working for him. Of course working with the Jackson 5, discovering the Commodores and moving to TV.

Also some updates about the Marvin Gaye movie, Mahogany TV series and a Netflix movie about Miriam Makeba.

Interesting stuff. She's certainly achieved a huge amount and had a full life. When reflecting on Motown 25, however, I would love her to have been asked about the lack of consideration for the Funk Brothers' and perhaps what she thought about Standing in the Shadows of Motown.
