After all these years of being on this site, I ventured into a new area and just read the brief bio on Rose Battiste. I've only heard a few of her songs [[via Youtube) and really dig her voice and I was shocked to find out that she worked as a secretary at Motown in 1970 AND actually recorded some songs prior to Motown moving to Los Angeles! How wonderful and exciting is that?!! Does anyone out there [[HW, Andy, George S.) have any insight into these recordings? And isn't it prime time that a Cellarful of Motown did a volume dedicated to the last few years Motown was located in Detroit say from 1970-72? There must be some outstanding songs from that brief period that are just waiting to be heard.

We discussed this on the old archives a long time ago. It was interesting.

Essentially, more information is needed as it was not clear if they were demo's or fully fledged recordings. From memory, no specific titles have been put forward
