Little richard movie starring leon

I've never seen the movie but I do remember when it came on tv. I couldn't see Leon playing Liottle Richard but anyone who has seen it, in your opinion, how did he do? How was the movie overall. I have been trying to order it where I usually order my movies and I noticed that it is extremely expensive [[I've seen it as high as $280 on Ebay). What's that about?

Glencro, his performance was actually believable to me. Though Richard is little and Leon isn't, he was able to capture Little Richard's personna to me. I liked the movie but I'm not chomping at the bit to see it again. [[I guess you can chalk that up to my ADD.)

Glencro, you might check your local listings. BET shows it a lot. In fact, it was just on last night.

I remember thinking the film was ok. It is probably hard to do Little Richard without going over the top, but I think Leon did fine. But like Nosey, I haven't had the urge to see it again.
