I keep forgetting to post something about this on the forum. A few weeks ago I walked into my local indie record store and they had just put out on the shelf a handful of copies of this newly released limited edition LP. Limited to 1500 copies according to the sticker on the front. Evidently released through Elemental Music as part of their "RSD Essentials 2022" series. I see they also released Edwin Starr's "War and Peace" in the same limited edition of 1500 copies in orange vinyl, which I did not see at my local shop.

Just wanted to make sure other record collectors are aware of these two releases, as I wasn't until I saw the J5 release on the shelf.

I love the idea of these editions. But ... I don't buy them because I get SO much conflicting information about what sounds good, what mix, what re-mix, etc! That's just me. Love to see the music being re-introduced and hope my fellow members love these two.

Today is Record Store Day and one of the releases is the Jackson 5's "ABC". I got a copy this morning and it's produced by the same company as the two above. It was supposed to be released last year and limited to 1200 copies, but production issues came up and they shelved it until today. And evidently production is now at full steam as they upped the edition to 6500 copies this time around, which pretty much killed the limited edition aspect of the release, but dumb me still bought it......
