Brit 60s singer Kathy Kirby has passed away. her big voice was best shown off on her version of Secret Love. For me, she was a little staid, and a throwback to the Fifties balladeers.

OMG How very sad. A lady with a heart as big as her voice.

Dance on Kathy RIP

My mum loved Kathy Kirby and I loved Dance On, in particualr. Yes, a throw back to the 50s but her voice was ace - so big, so bold, so brassy and a stunning looking lady too.

This is sad news. I remember her on Stars and Garters. She had a big voice, and was the first with that glossy lipstick. She also sang the theme music to the sixties cult series, Adam Adamant. She was a big star back then.

Have you been frozen in a block of ice.....and then whisked through Piccadilly Circus , in amazement at the "progress?"

Ah. So you recognise me, sir. I am gratified that all is not lost. I'm just waiting for that dear lady Juliet Harmer to catch up with me.
