Hi,
My name is Ella Neeman and I live in Tel Aviv, Israel.
I hope you could help me identify a soul music song from the 1970s.
My father recorded it back in the late 1970s [['76 or '77) from WGOV Valdosta GA radio station when he was a student at The Florida State University in Tallahassee.

It's a real mystery, neither Shazam nor Soundhound were able to pick it up. Googling the lyrics wasn't any help either, and nothing on Reddit's threads [["tip of my tongue", "name that song", "vinyl collectors", "1970s" etc.).

Does it ring a bell for you?

here's the original recording:

and here's a cleaned version someone sent me:

Thank you so much!

Your probably right!
On the 2nd cleaned version you can just pick up a key riff from the record
"Do It I Said Baby Baby " which threw me.

On listening over and over it sounds like "Baby Baby Please" Timothy Wilson covered it along with the "New Cymbals" & the Sensations but don't recognise the other?

This is fun!
