A good explanation indeed, and a #16 album if gauged by physical sales. A good find. And ... I like the word 'masterful'.

Billboard has a top holiday chart for all time; the only Motown album that made it was BoyzIIMen at #39. The only singles that made the Top 100 were I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, J5, at 65, Temptations Silent Night at 71 and Stevie's What Christmas Means to Me at 89.

I'm not sure if it means much if Diana charts on the Top 200 chart; everything is so fragmented.
