nobody will ever top the classic 5. [[IMO) but this incarnation of the group rarely get their props and they wasn't to shabby either! dennis edwards, damon harris, richard street held their own, they didn't tarnish their brand. what are some of your favorite songs by the 70's tempts?

How about "Its The Law Of The land" off their "Masterpiece" L.P.

In Britain it was released as a 45 and managed to reach #41 on the charts.

The poster has an earlier incarnation of the group on his video .. "Cloud Nine" era, wich is a shame, but I thought you all might like to see the label scan.

Thanks, classic shot during their " Live At Copa sessions'".......by the way that was Mr. Babbitt on bass......and it was amazing how the Tempts hand-claps has been a consistent trademark of the group.........never more evident than in this great record......

The seventies temps were good but not as loved coming on the heels of the classic five but they were still temptin...think for yourself..ways of a grown up man..let your hair down..smooth sailing..it's just a matter of time..take a look around..darling stand by me!
