Quite impressed with the new material from The Original Manhattans, one track with Jean Carn, you can not ever fault her vocal still, what an artist!

I have been searching all over the web for this release but can't seem to find a thread of it.
Never really been a big Manhattans fan always a sucker for anything Jean Carne related.
Listened again today to her cover of The Bluenotes If You Don't Me By Now. Get such a
kick out of her say Temptations, tell my story....Love that lady...

Hi!

As far as I know this is the latest CD by the authentic Manhattans:

Apologies to everyone, I made an error when posting, I had earlier received a call about a sudden death, and my mind must have not been quite there.

It should have read LEGENDARY BLUENOTES/SUGARBEAR,not The Original Manhattans, that CD I love, Gerald Alston signed my copy, I rate him so highly still, of all current voices he truly moved me.

The Legendery Bluenotes and Jean Carn track, if you would like to give it a listen, is on YouTube

This track is actually quite a few years old now; it appears on Jean’s album of [mostly] Philly Soul covers entitled Flash Back [2013]:

One of my favorite voices of all time. I wonder if when Jean and Doug reconciled a few years back did they record any new music....
