Wow - quite a surprise! There seems to be so little interest in Tina's recordings. This will be a must-buy for me; I loved the FA album & have the 'passport' special edition. Thanks for the find!

I hope they get around someday to releasing dvds of her PRIVATE DANCER and BREAK EVERY RULE tours. Each had an HBO special [BER had 2] but neither was the complete concert.

This looks like an overloaded mess with all these multiple versions. Why didn't they just add the entire Barcelona concert on DVD? Foreign Affair is definitely my favorite along with Break Every Rule and Private Dancer but this deluxe version looks overkill to me. Sometimes less is better.

A lot of the hardcore fans complained after the Private Dancer deluxe, as the consensus was that it was a missed opportunity, and I would agree with that. They didn't include a whole lot of anything new. Perhaps they'll do another Private Dancer deluxe for the 40th in a couple of years. I'm glad they're going out of their way this time to make this a proper deluxe edition with plenty of bonus content, a concert dvd, etc. Maybe they'll put out the DVD later on as a stand-alone release.

Personally I'd really like to see Private Dance deluxe with the original U.S. album cover. It was stunning compared to that "witch and cat" pose they did in the U.K. Same for a deluxe Break Every Rule. Love the Barcelona concert! I just listened to The Best demo on the other thread and I admit it is quite fascinating to hear. Maybe I'll re-think myself. Loved Tina since 1970.
