His singing is okay. But this song sounds like it is missing so very much with no background singers. It sounds like a Karaoke tape waiting for me to add the background parts. :cool:

Thanks mystery an alternate vocal without the others. There is alternate version around which has the backing vocals. I not sure if it has the same lead though.

Thanks for sharing! What a vocal beast David Ruffin is. I haven't heard this before and like some of the different things he did on this. One of my favorite songs. I have to track this down.

I absolutely love this. The backing instrumental track is also wonderful being that it appears to be prior to lots of tweaking that goes on during mastering. The instruments are so clear. And of course, Ruffin sounds so good. Thank you mysterysinger, for sharing this.
