It also takes people like you to spread news of good music releases. That doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated

It also takes people like you to bring us the music we love and cherish. New music but with the old feel, if you get my drift. Thanks, and thanks again. Now, when are you getting the Fantastic Four back in the studio?..Paulo xxx

Without James Epps, it just wouldn't work, Paulo. But wouldn't that have been a gas?

Actually, Paulo, you kind of nailed it when you wrote "new music with the old feel". It is something Abe, Russ, Teddie and I have agreed that this was what we were doing. We may not have the Funk Brothers, but we do use musicians of the highest caliber on our sessions. When you listen to the CD, pay particular attention to the lead guitar work. That is Tom Ayers, a player of astounding proportions. Tom and I have recorded together for years and the only lead player I would use.

Just received cd in mail. Sounds tight. I just wish it ran longer, only 38:59. Thats about
half the time of most cds today. But yet far superior than most of today's music. [[And no
cheesy rappers on top of that) I do recommend this to all the funkheads.

Shorter running time makes for better sound on vinyl. I don't think the criteria of a CD should be to fill the 80 minutes available running time. Sometimes less is more.

Paulo,
James Epps was a huge talent. I was lucky enough to be in the studio the night he did the vocals to "Girl Have Pity". I was blown away.
