Some of the shows that were forced to shut down last year did not survive and will not return. But the Tina Turner Musical and the Temptations musical are scheduled to re-open in September and the new Michael Jackson musical is also set to start previews in September.

Are we finally getting back to normal ? :)

I'm looking forward to the re-opening but I hope things aren't happening too fast.

That said, I've seen both the Tina and the Tempts musicals before and had plans to see Tina again until things shut down the week before my intended visit. It will be nice when things get back to normal.

I also hope it isn't happening too fast and that they will have all safeguards in place.

I also saw the Tina and Tempts musicals and enjoyed them both. I was trying to make arrangements to bring a disabled friend to see the shows. He was an avid music lover. Sadly, he got the virus in April, fought it, survived, but passed away this January from existing complications that accelerated because of the virus.

I've seen The Temptations' musical, Ain't Too Proud To Beg, back in 2019 and I'm looking forward to seeing Tina later this year when Broadway reopens. Also, my Condolences to you on the loss of your Friend.

Sorry to hear abt the loss of your friend. We can't see a musical/concert, but they pack airplanes with 6" of social distancing. I don't get it. But yes, be nice to get back to normal operations so to speak.

Add me to the alumni list for the Tempts show, which I loved and recommend, and really look forward to Tina.

Very sorry for the loss of your friend. So sad he didn't get to see the shows. May he r.i.p.
It has been a very tough 15 months or so with so many people suffering heartbreaking losses. I am so thankful to have seemingly survived it.

Condolences on the loss of your friend. It will be odd as we are expected to resume the joys of music, arts and culture as we are grieving the friends and loved ones we lost during the last year.

I love concerts and theatre but I worry how that experience will be changed by all of this. I know many people will not attend concerts or theatre for a while. I never saw the Tina Musical because tickets were just too pricey. If they are still asking $250+ a seat I don't think many of these musicals will last long when Broadway reopens.

Thank you for condolences. I loved the TINA Musical and was looking forward to seeing it again with my disabled friend but then the shutdown came. When he was in better shape I did get him to other musicals that he loved. He saw Motown the Musical three times.

Tina has scheduled an opening in October and tickets are now on sale ranging from $129 front row orchestra to $79 for rear mezz.

TINA got nominated for a TONY before it closed, but as far as I know, the Tony Awards for the 2019-20 Season were never announced.
