Not sure why Bob is playing this old countdown of his [ hope he is Ok !) but here is a chance to hear the hits from 1966 counted down in order as they were back then!!

This was years before there was an actual AMERICAN TOP 40 countdown on the radio [Casey Kasem), so this really is a treat!

Good news for those interested !
Two countdowns from April 1966 can be heard in their entirety .

These can be stopped/started or skipped through or played through in order at one's discretion.

Obviously the great opportunity here is to hear "oldies" played within the context of their real time , not mixed in with oldies from other years as one does when listening to an oldies format.....etc..

Kind of fun to listen to what music was competing with what- and to think back on how each of these latest records were loved by some [and hated by others lol!)



This radio station only makes available the countdowns that were played during Bob's last two Sunday broadcasts. So the April 2nd one will only be available for listening until this Sunday AM.


Its' Top 10 has both The Rolling Stones and The Beatles as well as Nancy Sinatra and Cher on it !
