Of the scores of Supremes singles issued in their run, only one had a date on the A side and the B side. Which single was that and what did those dates signify?

I'm not really sure what you mean. All the singles I have looked at have dates on both sides?

Is it 'Some Things You Never Get Used To'/'You've Been So Wonderful To Me'?

Yes Copley, it is. Side A has the date 5/14/68 and Side B 5/15/68. I had always assumed those must have been the recording dates but TCMS had both tracks recorded in April. The only other assumption I can make is perhaps these were the mastering dates. Or maybe the pressing dates since the record was rushed out a week later.

Any ideas what the dates signify? George or Andy maybe?

according to Don't Forget the Motor City site, Some Things was completed on 5/7 and you've been so wonderful was completed on 5/14

be interesting to see what these other dates signify

I had checked TCMS & DFTMC but the dates did not match for 'Some Things'!

I remain amazed at how much fans know about the Supremes
