Check out the new album from The Manhattans featuring Gerald Alston - The Legacy Continues on Spotify, and it is available on their website.

One track stands out to me, which Gerald co-wrote with Stanley Clarke & George Duke, showcasing Gerald's vocal at his best, such warmth and soul, he just seems to get better!

I wasn't expecting a new album. I must check it out. I worked with Gerald Alston when he was signed as a solo artist for Motown. He was a nice guy, and oh so talented. Glad to see he is still in the game. Will have to check this album out. Thank you for posting.

I met Gerald when he released his Motown debut album here in the UK, he was on a promotional tour to radio stations and he visited the station I worked for in Liverpool, agree with you such a genuine Guy! and such rich talent! I rate him up with Levi Stubbs, the two singers that make my eyes fill up on some of the emotion in the voices.

The UK released a special promo CD for the radio station tour, which I still treasure. I could not believe it when I woke up last Friday, before getting up I will check my email and Spotify for new releases selected for me, and there was the new album, it made my day!
