Close. AMC debut in 1970. Erica [[Susan Lucci) was a character on the show from the start. "One Life To Live" is actually older, starting in 1968.

BTW, anyone know how Luke and Laura [[General Hospital) are getting along?

Laura rarely appears on the show anymore...she's in some sanitarium in Europe. Luke has been involved with Tracy Quartermayne for a while.

Who knows if 600 may be losing jobs, but still a number of actors, writers, producers, crew members and administrative support people will be out of jobs once AMC and OLTL go off the air and they'll have to find new jobs.

@Abfan--Loved OLTL in the 80's when Tina and Gabrielle ran amuck on that show.

Susan Lucci lives up the road from me in Garden City here on Long Island. Sad, but all things must come to an end eventually I guess.
