The younger generation has learned from the mistakes of the older generation. This is a good thing. Although I don’t know, I have a feeling Stevie may have been an exception.

Yes, Stevie owns his masters from 1971 and onwards. It was part of his new deal with Motown, at that time. Good for him.

As far as I'm concerned, Stevie left in 1971...after "Where I'm coming from".....
Subsequent recordings could have been on ANY label.
