A friend of mine texted me about this, this morning. He is her nephew, whom she adopted, along with his sister, in 1989 after her sister passed away. This entire ordeal is super weird. That was also my exact choice of word to describe this...weird. He does seem to be 'off', mentally-speaking. It's too bad that Patti has to have her name attached to these headlines, as I'm sure she's not thrilled about it.

Patti has always been [[at least, outwardly) a friend of my community [['The Gays') and of course she can't be held responsible for the actions of anyone but herself. We'll hope the guy gets himself in a better life-position.
