Damn, those Sinbad concerts rocked!

Watching Cameo, Confunkshun, and Lakeside, on YouTube, the live shows at the Sinbad Jamaica shows. I remember seeing those awhile back, awesome stuff! Wish I could've gone. Just great performances and the crowd is totally into it. I've sat at plenty of shows full of mellow Northwesterners who are too cool to get up and dance.

Sinbad did a good job of getting some great groups.

Why oh why aren't these shows out on DVD? HBO can put out the most menial shows on DVD, but the Summer Jam series remains M.I.A..

The one with Stephanie Mills was great. They should put those on DVD. Does Sinbad still host these type of shows?

When Sinbad stopped doing the concerts, Tom Joyner's continued the concerts with all these groups on his Fantastic Voyage each year to benefit HBCUs
