Just seen on FB that theres something very special coming soon from Marvin Gaye...and theres a clip of Marvin performing Inner City Blues at the Oakland Coliseum Arena in1974....I wonder what it is?.

Interesting, can you expound on that? Marvin probably has a lot of unreleased live footage out there that we haven't seen yet. There's a concert Marvin had at the Olympia Hall in Paris in 1976 that was recorded and I don't think we saw every performance.

It would be great to find out they actually recorded a video of Marvin performing in Oakland in 1974.

midnightman its basically all it says on FB..theres something special coming soon with the clip of Marvin....so im just as much in the dark as everybody else...it could be like you say the concert in Oakland...fingers crossed .

Maybe they are releasing his 1974 MARVIN GAYE LIVE! album again. It was recorded in Oakland. Or as already said, maybe a dvd.

Wouldn't it be great if we get a vinyl re-release AND a CD/DVD? Amazing if they did record the Oakland concert on video!
