Thank you soulmusic, I loved it. It's one of my favorites by the Tops. I met them in 1995 in Biloxi when I was working with Martha Reeves and I got them to sign my CD of the Nature Planned It lp. I told Levi how much I loved that lp and he responded, "This was great stuff wasn't it?" All were so warm and friendly even though I could tell Levi wasn't feeling well, he was battling cancer. It's a memory I'll never forget.

Was Levi feeling run down? I'm still shocked by the cancer thing. I hear on facebook and stuff. What'd he think of you liking nature planned it?

He seemed quite pleased. The gig was at a casino in Biloxi. I used to work with Martha and her sisters backstage. The gig was marred a bit. Lois and Martha made it to New Orleans in time but sister Delphine got held up in Detroit and flew to New Orleans where I picked her up at the airport and rushed her to the gig. She got into her gown and onstage in like 10 min. Theo Peoples were with the Tops and he was said to be ill and stayed in his room, so there were only the three original Tops performing. They were spectacular. Levi sounded amazing.
