You need to invent a whole new word for this as it's beyond bad! Of course Al Fayed is well known for his taste in the arts!

Fayed is a classic example of loadsa money and no taste. The fact that he so much money he could afford the best artist in the world to create this Jackson statue - and yet he accepted this pile of tat that that looks like a reject from a provincial Madame Tussauds.

His statue of himself in Harrods is just as bad - and worse still is that Dodie and Diana memorial. Christ, that makes me cringe whenever I go in that place [[which is only for the good wine dept. I have to say).

Very tacky, but there was a lot of tackiness in Michael's life and career, so in a way it's fitting, though I'm sure that wasn't the intent.

Well if he raised it up about 150 more feet it may not look so bad.

It's like the cartoon Michael Jackson or "Speed Racer" dressed up like Michael Jackson.

Tamla - Yes it it is. Apparently that was one of the terms of condition of sale, that the gilded eyesore remains for all the world to see. Presumably it will be thrown out with the trash the day Fayed pegs it.
