RIP Regis

Haven;t heard too many details but Regis Philbin passed away Saturday [[or maybe Friday?) at age 88. He had been documented to have had more hours on TV than anyone in history.

I had seen him recently on some things and he looked healthy so I wonder if it was something sudden.

His first talk show, The Regis Philbin Show, was here in San Diego on KOGO-TV [[now KGTV) in the early 60's. Before that he was a news anchor for KOGO. Rest In Peace.
