Even If My Heart Would Break vs. People Get Ready

Hey guys, just a quick observation...currently listening to the Bodyguard Soundtrack, specifically, "Even If My Heart Would Break" with Kenny G and Aaron Neville. I just noticed this song is almost identical to "People Get Ready" [[recorded by The Impressions, Aretha, etc). Has this ever been addressed or acknowledged by anyone? :rolleyes:

I have to admit that I don't think I ever listened to the non-Whitney songs on the soundtrack. If I did, it was only on the day I actually bought the cd back in 1992.

That said, I definitely hear a similar melody although there is a different twist after the first two verses. I don't recall hearing of any charges brought about because of it. Ironically, Aaron did a remake of PEOPLE GET READY on one of his recent cds.
