Interesting, as this same item was just listed for sale a couple of weeks ago in the David Gest auction. His estate sold some of his collection via an auction house in the UK. I wonder if the script had sold and someone is now reselling it at a higher price, or if it didn't sell during the auction and they've listed it on eBay?

The listing says the signatures include David Ruffin. David wasn’t even in “TCB.” Perhaps someone asked him to sign it some years later.

Yes, I noticed that as well. A number of the Motown legends toured the UK in the late 80's, so this was likely signed by Mary, Eddie and David at that time. As you pointed out, David was no longer in the group when TCB was recorded, so it was gracious of him to even sign this script.
