I'm unsure whether Faye Hale's passing on February 15, 2020 was mentioned here.

Faye was involved in Motown from the early days and held many positions within the Company over the years. She was also a producer, of for example Mable John's "Take Me".

This interesting little piece mentions her role in label copy for Marvin Gaye's "Stubborn Kind Of Fellow" and the vocal backing provided by The Dominettes:

This is tragic. I do not recall seeing it mentioned here nor anywhere else.

Hopefully someone can come up with more details. The class Motown article was very interesting also. These only get posted on the Motown Forum sporadically [in cases such as this]. It would be nice if more efforts were put forth to routinely publish these when they are released.

Or am I the only person who feels this way?

I find this sort of ‘minutae ‘ fascinating. Thanks for posting

It is sad but I'm sure there dozens of other folks who worked behind the scenes to help
get the music we love to us whose names may never be known to any of us. RIP and a
thousand thank you to Fay Hale...
