If Ross was truly angry at Carol over this skit, it shows how narrow Ross thinks. What helped make Ross a legend, and what made her so fascinating, was exactly the dynamics in the skit. Ross was so frightened by the things that fans and the public ate up. She should have said, “Bring it on!”

You are right. I don't know if Ross was angry but I doubt it.

As long as most of the jokes were good and the costumes were tasteful [[for the most part), then there's no need to for DR be angry.

Carol is Diana’s daughter Tracee’s idol [[one of them). So obviously the Carol Burnett show was watched in the Ross home.

What's to be angry about. That is the perception most of the general public has of her.

Could this be a preview of Motown 25 in 1969?
