Beyond Greatest Hits vinyl collections and further on into the CD era came the Anthology - compendious volumes all, you'd think meant to be the zenith of releases on an artist, but apparently not as they seemed to appear every few years.
I don't know about you but I often get confused when I come across the many different anthology [[and greatest hits) collections and knowing which, if any, are worth buying.
Originally a 3 disc vinyl collection, SRATM have had several Anthologies released over the years - most below but I think there are more. The one that seems to be the best, for me, is "OOO Baby Baby" but if that's the number 1, why bother releasing the "Gold" set later - basically a re-hash of the Polygram 31453 release.
That's even before we get on to the incredible 35th Anniversay boxed set.
