Shamefully, I only know one of Freddie's songs, "You Got What I Need"... and that’s only because it’s in an Amazon advert [[although they do use the track quite nicely). :)

That is a nice song, and it differs from the rest of Freddie's output, because it was a Gamble & Huff production.
I also think that his peak period fell on his stint with Bert Berns on Shout Records.
I was fortunate to go over his career with him over twenty years ago:
