Wow! I forgot "Please Little Angel", and "Starting The Hurt All Over Again" and "Only Your Love Can Save Me" [[same as Marvelettes'?). I never knew that Ashford and Simpson wrote "Love Woke Me Up This Morning", as I had only known it from an unfinished tape by Brenda Holloway in The Motown Vaults. "Ain't That Good Enough" was written also with Jo Armstead [[as were many others).

Marlena Shaw's version of the A & S penned song, "California Soul" closed out the fine new movie "The Lincoln Lawyer."

You can put me in the same room with Robb ,Mr Soul and the others that have listed more than 5 songs.
I have always been intrigued by the complexities of A&S productions and compositions ,especially Vals playing and arrangements. She is a genius.
I am slapped silly especially by the break down and remix by Tom Moulton of FOUND A CURE and the other remixes that are on the RHINO A&S box set. Also the breakdowns of the multis of the Tammi and Marvin tracks. Outstanding.
