It seems as if we are going through an unusual period right now where not a single day goes by that we don't lose someone who is at least somewhat connected to the entertainment field. So this weekend, in addition to Phyllis George and Fred Willard, and the other recent deaths that we have not even had time to get over, I just read that Melissa Etheridge's 21-year-old son, Beckett Cypher, has died.

He was one of the two children born to her and her former partner Julie Cypher, and fathered, as well publicized at the time, by David Crosby. The cause of death was opioid-related according to the article I read.
