The second track from Diana's first solo lp and, for many of us the second solo Diana track we were to hear. Diana's vocal hits it out of the ballpark on this one. Always loved it. Of course, written and produced by the mighty, MIGHTY Ashford & Simpson.

Thanks for posting. One of my all time favorite Diana tunes. I remember like it was yesterday, anxiously awaiting Diana's first solo album. And I couldn't have been more pleased with, IMO, every track being a winner. Hard to believe that was a half century ago.

I must say that this was my Get Out of that Funk record. I was sold completely on this song and Nick and Val became KING and QUEEN of all writers and producers for me. Thanks for posting this. This brought back so many memories. Good memories.

Interesting cover by Dee Dee Warwick if you haven’t heard it:

Ross is brilliant. Soooooo under-rated then and now.

Yes and Valerie Simpson [[QUEEN) even recorded and added to her solo LP but Diana soared on this song. I often believe she had eyes on Bob Elllis by now.

I also like the version by High Inergy, although the sound on this YouTube video is not such a good quality.

This song had to grow on me. Diana's version is still my favorite.
