What’s wrong with Little Richard?!

Charles Wright made a video on Facebook asking for prayers for Little Richard. He didn’t relay any information about his health though. Does anyone here know about his current condition?

Richard Penniman has lived a lifetime on this Earth. I really think his time on top of the music world was real brief yet those 18 months or whatever he spent recording his classics was enough for him to leave a lasting legacy.

Despite his conflicting views of his sexuality, he was truly a pioneer in LGBT music as well. Whatever happens to him, thank him for EVERYTHING.

There are only two rock and roll pioneers from the early years [[1955-1962) left: Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis, and Lewis is reportedly in bad health as well. I remembered with Bootsy Collins made a Facebook post about Richard not being well around 2013 or 2014 and his manager at the time denied it.

He recorded up until the 1990s but it was pretty sporadic after 1976.

So apparently, Little Richard was battling cancer, from which he passed away from today! RIP
