All right, you Dionne-ocologists, riddle me this: Who are the background vocal personnel on the Soulful album? Is it The Sweets and/or others? This has been puzzling me all day.

I haven't listened to it in a while but I remember thinking that Dionne did some of the backgrounds herself.

A favorite lp and my Rhino Handmade expanded edition is an object of fetish. Unfortunately, as excellent as the booklet is, there is no mention of backing vocals whatsoever!

Tell me about it! Scepter, like Motown, is notorious for not crediting their musicians.

I'm particularly curious about Dionne's "Someday We'll Be Together." I'd like to know if at least Cissy is one of the backing vocalists.
