Nice read.
I was visiting NYC when BOUNCE SKATE was hot. Heard it thumping on every street corner and along every block in between. Big urban record.
Disco roller skating was another angle that gave disco legs. I'm remembering now watching them skating in Central Park. Was big on Sundays in Golden Gate Park too where a street was closed off for it.

RIP Mr. Mason. Good job!
